Divesting Ourselves From The Matrix
Many of you have seen the trilogy called, “The Matrix”.
For those that have not seen it, the movie depicts a real world and a fake world. In the fake world all of the people live in relative safety as their minds make them think they are living normal lives, working, playing, loving….
In reality these people’s physical bodies are in pods acting as batteries for machines.
People of the Unites States, and for the most part the entire world, are living in a similar matrix. While Americans think they live in the greatest, freest, safest country in the world (a little bit of propaganda disseminated regularly) they are really slaves to the corpratocracy.
People that know something is wrong break free, often paying a high price for knowing and spreading the truth.
So, how do you divest yourself from being a slave?
For one you practice self-reliance and self-responsibility. I have met many people (especially in prison) that want to be taken care of by big brother. They pride themselves in “working the system” – getting free stuff from the government, and they are appalled at the thought of someone working hard to achieve their goals and dreams.
There was one like this in the movie that even killed to get back to the fake life of luxury. These people don’t even thing far enough to see that nothing is free. They justify their behavior by thinking that they are taking from the rich to give to the poor. What they don’t realize is that what they get is coming from the middle class, and when the middle class is destroyed by Quantitative Easing their little game will be up.
I have also met many people that don’t want to be captives. These people want to be responsible for their selves and their families. They practice delayed gratification so that they can have a balanced life and achieve important goals, like buying used cars so that the mother can stay home and home-school the children.
These people believe that our nation has become an ineptocracy, and they want no part of it. Here’s the definition of an ineptocracy (not an original).
Ineptocracy
-(in-ep-toc-ra-cy)-A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
In order to avoid being sucked into this system I have been advocating starting home-based businesses. Even if you keep your day job, a home-based business will help bring in extra resources and help you control your own time talents and treasures. Home-based businesses help people get out of debt and save and invest for the future.
I urge you to think about starting a business, as our economy crashes. Make sure it’s one that you can do from anywhere in the world, just in case you decide to leave the good old USA. Here are some practical criteria for selecting a home based business:
- The best portable businesses have a digital product or service with broad appeal.
- A great portable business requires no specialized knowledge.
- Your time commitment in the portable business should be nominal, only a few hours a day.
- Your portable business’s compensation plan should be generous.
- You should have an automated marketing system and replicating website.
- Your business should grow by word of mouth along with traditional marketing.
- Your product or service should be appealing and have powerful customer drawing qualities.
- Your product or service should generate recurring income.
- Your business should get you excited about life and should be fun to do.
- Your business should have the potential to bring you genuine financial freedom and flexibility.
- Your business should be unique and stand out in the crowd
There are several good businesses out there that you can do from home with a small investment. When I listen to the experts they say financial education, debt elimination and survival related businesses are the ones that are growing the fastest.
I have selected two businesses that involve financial education and they are going great. I can help people and bring in extra resources at the same time. Many people e-mail me daily asking for advice on what to do about surviving and even thriving. The answers are out there if we will turn off the television and get busy in the real world.
Life is short; don’t leave yours up to somebody else!
Stop letting your “boss” determine where you live, what kind of car you drive and where you go for vacation. “He who defines controls.” You define you! Divest your life from government, banks, Wall Street and the corporations, and join with others that do. We need to work together to become whole again.
